Manchester United have been chasing Bryan Mbeumo for a long time and have had multiple bids rejected. Now, there is a new twist in the transfer saga.
The last bid submitted by the Red Devils was worth £62.5million, however, back then, Brentford were demanding a fee of £65million to sell their prized asset.

Now that Man United are ready to offer £65million for Mbeumo, the Bees have decided to raise the asking price much to the despair of the Old Trafford outfit.
As per today’s edition of The Guardian, at the end of June, Ratcliffe believed that a bid worth £65million would seal the signing and even the London based club ‘privately indicated’ that a medical would take place.
However, the British media outlet claim that now, Brentford have raised the asking fee to around £70million and that has stalled the deal.
Mbeumo has made it clear he wants to join Man United, but the 20-time English champions do not wish to be held to ransom and are trying to be patient.
The Bees are playing hard ball at the moment and who can blame them as they try to get as high a fee possible for their best player.
In a month, Man United will face last year’s PL runners-up Arsenal at Old Trafford and Amorim needs want Mbeumo at the earliest to prepare for the mega fixture.
The Gunners have already secured multiple signings to improve their squad for the next campaign, on the other hand, United have only hired Matheus Cunha from Wolves as yet.
Mbeumo is a top quality player, but is he really worth £70million? Should Man United look for other options?
